Welcome to The Cheesecake Shoppe & Café! By accessing or using our website (www.thecheesecakeshoppe.com), online store, social media accounts, purchasing from our storefront, placing an order, or using our services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

General Use

By visiting our store or using our websites, you agree that:

  • You are at least 18 years old and/or have the consent of a parent or guardian.

  • You will use our site and services for lawful purposes only.

  • You will not misuse our site by introducing viruses or malicious code.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at any time for any reason.

Product Orders & Payment

  • All items are subject to availability. We reserve the right to limit quantities, discontinue products at any time, stop accepting online orders, or change orders that have been placed at any time.

  • Prices are listed in USD and are subject to change without notice.

  • Orders placed online must be paid in full at the time of checkout unless otherwise specified.

  • Sales tax is applied where required by law.

  • Special orders (such as custom cakes or catering) require advance notice and may require a deposit. Such orders must be placed in person or by calling our Bakery. You will receive verbal confirmation of your order and a reciept for any deposits or payments. Such orders will not be accepted online.​

Returns & Refunds

Due to the perishable nature of our products:

  • We do not accept returns or exchanges on food items. No exceptions.

  • If you are unsatisfied with your purchase due to quality issues, please contact us within 24 hours of receiving the item. We will do our best to resolve the issue with a replacement or store credit at our discretion.

  • We do not offer refunds. No Exceptions.

  • Proof of purchase may be required.

Product Instructions

Due to the perishable nature of our products:

  • ALL products must be consumed within 7 days of purchase.

  • ALL cheesecake items and items with buttercream MUST be kept refrigerated. 

  • We recommend refrigerating bakery items.

  • Cheesecake items stay fresh for up to 7 days from the date of purchase.

  • To freeze cheesecake products, wrap item in 2 layers of plastic wrap. Freeze for up to 3 months.

Gift Card Redemption Policy

We are happy to offer digital and physical gift cards to share the sweetness with others!

 

Redemption Guidelines:

  • Gift cards can be redeemed in-store and online (as applicable).

  • Gift cards may be used for bakery items, beverages, merchandise, or special orders.

  • If your total is less than the card’s value, the remaining balance will remain on the card.

  • If your purchase exceeds the balance, the difference must be paid at the time of purchase.

  • Gift cards cannot be used to purchase other gift cards, and they are not redeemable for cash (unless required by law).

  • Lost or stolen cards cannot be replaced without proof of purchase.

  • We do not currently accept gift cards through third-party apps like DoorDash.

Third-Party Services

We may offer delivery or pickup through third-party platforms (e.g., DoorDash and Square Online). The Cheesecake Shoppe & Café is not responsible for the policies, actions, or errors of these platforms. Issues related to third-party orders should be directed to that platform's customer service.

Allergens & Dietary Restrictions

Our kitchen handles dairy, eggs, wheat, soy, nuts, and other allergens. While we do our best to prevent cross-contact, we cannot guarantee that any of our products are allergen-free.

Please inform staff of any allergies before ordering. Customers with severe allergies should exercise their own judgment when purchasing.

Intellectual Property

All images, recipes, logos, and content on our website and marketing materials are the property of The Cheesecake Shoppe & Café and may not be used or reproduced without permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Cheesecake Shoppe & Café is not liable for any damages arising from use of our website, services, or products, including but not limited to allergic reactions, missed deadlines, or third-party delivery and/or processing issues.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. The updated version will be posted on our website with the effective date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
